“Moline" was written just minutes before the band walked on stage.

Pearl Jam unexpectedly debuted a new song during its sold-out concert at the iWireless Center in Moline, Ill., on Friday (Oct. 17).
Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder revealed during the show that the new tune “Moline,” named after the Quad Cities town, was written just minutes before the band walked on stage, according to Rolling Stone. Watch the performance below.
"Moline, it seems, this is for me. You can call me Nancy and I live in Moline," Vedder sings on the track, which is about a woman who leaves Detroit for Moline.
