Everything We Know About Adele's Long-Awaited New Album

ADELE

Is the artist behind the biggest album of the 2010’s finally ready to follow it up?

Adele has been teasing the follow-up to her 2011 blockbuster, 21, for more than a year, but a new set of music may finally materialize this fall — the label is planning on a November release, Billboard has learned.

Adele and her team have remained mum since May 2014, when the singer teased an album titled 25 for later in the year, but her label, XL Recordings, subsequently ruled out that timeline.

Danger Mouse has been working on the album, and Max Martin has contributed a single. Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. also has written a (reportedly, standout) track, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder is back in the mix after producing and co-writing “Rumour Has It” on 21.

Adele’s team is remaining mum, as is the London superstar, whose sophomore LP has sold over 11 million copies and was the top-selling album of the year in both 2011 and 2012. In July, Ed Sheeran told the U.K.’s Capital FM, “I haven’t heard [Adele’s album], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently, it’s really good.”
