Today in Calvin Harris news having nothing to do with Taylor Swift, the Scottish DJ has once again topped Forbes’ Electronic Cash Kings list of the highest paid DJs in dance music.
Thanks to higher performance fees and lucrative endorsement deals with the likes of Giorgio Armani and Sol Republic, Harris has racked up $66 million over the past 12 months, matching his record-setting totals for last year’s list. In June, Forbes named Harris and Swift the highest-paid celebrity couple, with $146 million combined.
Who Are This Year's Highest-Paid DJs?
In second place -- and way behind Harris on the EDM list -- is Frenchman David Guetta, who earned $37 million after a busy year of shows in Las Vegas, Ibiza and some major headliner gigs at festivals, including Coachella. Right behind Guetta is Dutch DJ Tiësto, with $36 million, thanks to over 100 concert dates. A pair of Americans, Skrillex and Steve Aoki, are then knotted up at No. 4 with $24 million apiece.
The rest of the Top 10 highest paid DJs includes Avicii, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Zedd and Afrojack. The top three are below, and you can find the full list at Forbes.
