Jess Glynne

British pop vocalist Jess Glynne has followed last week's fifth U.K. No. 1 single "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" with a new entry at No. 1 for her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh (Warner Music).

Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" (Columbia/Sony) followed its top 10 success in the U.S., Australia and elsewhere with a 68-1 climb on the singles chart.

Glynne's album had first-week sales of nearly 60,000, according to the Official Charts Company. It includes all five of her best-selling singles appearances, on Clean Bandit's "Rather Be" and Route 94's "My Love" last year, and her own previous 2015 hits "Hold My Hand" and "Not Letting Go" with Tinie Tempah.

The Very Best Of Cilla Black (Rhino/Warner Music) fell to No. 2 as Bon Jovi scored their 15th U.K. top 10 album with a No. 3 entry for Burning Bridges (Mercury). Teenage U.K. singing-rapping duo Bars and Melody, contestants on last year's series of "Britain's Got Talent," debuted at No. 4 with their debut album 143, on the label of the same name. Dr. Dre's former No. 1 Compton (Interscope/Universal) held at No. 5.

The album top 20 also included new entries for Chicago metal band the Disturbed, whose sixth full-length, Immortalized (Reprise/Warner), came in at No. 8; and Scottish rockers The Fratellis, with Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied (Cooking Vinyl) started at No. 16. Now That's What I Call Music 91 (Sony Music CG/Virgin EMI/Universal) started a fifth week at No. 1 on the compilation chart.
