Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift have been trading winks for some time now. If you remember, it started off early this year with Swift rocking out front row to Lamar's Grammy performance with Imagine Dragons. From there the media love affair continued with Swift paying homage to Lamar's music in interviews, to which Kendrick responded saying her comments were good for hip-
hop.

More recently, Lamar treated an interviewer (and, subsequently, the Internet) to an impromptu cover of Swift's chart-topper "Shake It Off." And immediately following, Swift celebrated the release of her 1989 album's 1.287 million sales in the first week lip-syncing along to Lamar's "Backbeat Freestyle."
With each exchange the Internet's been shocked and pleased, and now we get what we've all been waiting for -- the two hooking up, err, mashed-up on the same track.
The mash-up whizzes Hood Internet have delivered "Backseat Shakeoff" that takes "Shake It Off" and "Backbeat Freestyle" in a perfectly timed track the web deserves.
