Dirtybird Records' latest release was a product of romantic indecision.
Iranian producer Ardalan channeled his own hesitant tendencies on "The No Yeah," a quirky track featuring a cooing female vocal over modular techno bloops and stomping sub-bass.
"The idea behind the track was an inside joke about how I can't make any decisions ever," he says. "And in the song, this applies to the girl singing whether love is meant to be with a significant other or whether it's not, and it builds up from saying yes or no so much that the drop had to cause damage that involves bass."
