While Taylor Swift's new 1989 isn't available on streaming sites like Spotify, there is one place the Internet can get it for a pretty good deal.
Microsoft’s new Music Deals app that launched last week is selling the mega release for just $0.99, that's more than a 90 percent discount from the US iTunes Store $12.99 list price.
Microsoft recently announced it has decided to close its free streaming serviceXbox Music this December, while continuing its paid streaming offering, and will now offer 101 albums for $1.99 or less each Tuesday with its new Music Deals app for Windows 8 and Windows Phone. This week's offerings other than 1989include a hip-hop promotion that features albums from Jay Z, Kanye West, Drakeand 2Pac, as well as 50 metal albums. All those, along with Swift's new set, will be available through Nov. 3.
